Work among the Lepers: We also care for the Lepers, who have been widely neglected by the families and the government. Leprosy is a disease by which the person affected loses the limbs and becomes a handicap. People think that it is a contagious disease and they want to keep themselves away from the lepers. The general notion of the people is that, leprosy affects a person who has involved in sins. So the lepers are driven away from the homes and they are looked upon as a scary animal. We as a ministry are providing the medication, food and clothing occasionally. If the Lord provides we are planning to build a home for the lepers and give them a decent life, rehabilitate and send them back to society. There are lepers whom I know, they did not have a touch of a human for years. But we love them, touch them, caress them and hug them. Praise the Lord.
